What we have here is a 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible Restoration Project. The restoration has been started and these are the items that have been completed:

– Completely rebuilt tri power motor and transmission
– New tank and fuel lines
– New brakes and brake lines
– Powder Coated frame and other components
– Completely new front end

The PHS states that the car came with 389ci V8 tri-power, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows and top as well as a power drivers seat and a tilt wheel. In addition she had the optional semi-metallic rear brakes (great for racing but terrible for street driving). The new rear shoes are not semi-metallic. The engine rebuild cost in excess of $12,000 alone.

This car needs a complete makeover of the body and interior and will need a new convertible top. The owner of this car has taken on one too many projects and just does not have the time to finish this car. The 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible is a very desirable muscle car and and this one is highly optioned, and very desirable.
